The close nature of the results combined with the high turnout prompted the Associated Student Government election committee to double check the results with IT, according to Student Body Vice President Tim Hogan.
"We needed them to verify the results because there were rumors that certain places allowed you to vote twice in the system," Hogan said. After consulting with IT services this morning, ASG found the high turnout proved to be legitimate and there were no cases of double-voting, according to Hogan.
