I’m “wasting” money, and I love it

I search for deals on everything from food to new books. I sometimes am a complete oxymoron, cutting every little cost on some things but spending without a care in the world when the prospect of a new adventure comes up. Money is not meant to be hoarded, and that number in your bank account won’t mean anything unless you use it in the real world.

With the semester in hindsight and winter break ahead comes another important time in many students’ lives: the holiday season.  However, the holiday season brings with it an uptick in waste, and with Oxford’s Climate Action Plan, sustainability efforts are being highlighted for students and townspeople alike.

Exploring the Rockies

The night had been cold and windy, and I was glad my tent stakes had stayed in the ground. The ground I slept on was rough and rocky, and it had been six days since my last shower.
