Miami hockey sweeps Omaha on Senior Weekend
By Michael Namorato | March 2, 2020Oh, how sweep it is.
Oh, how sweep it is.
If you were to take a quick glance at Miami’s record, one could reason the season has been underwhelming.
St. Cloud State swept the RedHawks last weekend. Miami won't play again until Dec. 30.
Miami won, 3-2, Friday but fell short, 5-4, in a comeback attempt Saturday.
The RedHawks battled until the end but could not keep up with the high-powered Falcons, falling 7-4.
Fans of Redhawk hockey eagerly await the start to the new season every fall, and they have every reason to be impatient this year. There will be a new voice overheard on the Miami bench this season, and that voice belongs to Chris Bergeron.
