Miami football hits the road again this weekend against another Big Ten opponent. The RedHawks will play Rutgers on Sept. 6 at 3:30 p.m. EST.
When the clock ran out in the fourth quarter in Miami football's season opener, the RedHawks managed to hold Wisconsin to 17 points. However, Miami's offense couldn't find the endzone or get the ball through the goalposts, leading to a shutout by the Badgers.
The Miami University RedHawks football team stayed in the game against the University of Wisconsin-Madison Badgers going into halftime. However, a mediocre offensive performance found the RedHawks scoreless and trailing 17-0 by the end of the fourth quarter.
The 2025 college football season begins this week, but Miami University RedHawk fans won’t have to wait until Saturday to see the team on the gridiron. The RedHawks ring in the season on the road against the University of Wisconsin-Madison Badgers on Aug. 28.

The Miami RedHawks baseball team took its first regular season MAC title in 20 years. Now, Miami prepares for its first postseason game of the 2025 season against Toledo in the MAC tournament.
