Our videographer, Derek Stamberger, is a junior studying Interactive Media Studies and media and culture. He joined The Miami Student his sophomore year, making videos for sporting events throughout the year. This year, he hopes to take on more sporting events, and create videos to support impactful stories throughout the year. He enjoys the social atmosphere of the staff and would like to attend (and perhaps organize) some social events going forward to bond and improve chemistry throughout the staff. His most acclaimed project last year was recording and editing footage for the 2019 MUF&D Fashion Show, which was praised by runway models and peers alike. He continues to use his experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and iMovie to benefit The Student and create personal videos on the side.
