There's a reason why Western Kentucky University quarterback Brandon Doughty is generating buzz among NFL scouts. The sixth-year QB threw for 457 yards and six touchdowns as he led the Hilltoppers to a 56-14 win against Miami University Saturday.
Miami University football (1-2) ends its non-conference schedule against a Western Kentucky University team that beat Vanderbilt in its season-opener and came within three points of beating Indiana University last week.

The Miami University women's tennis team travels to Virginia for a set of tournaments split between the team. Four RedHawks face the University of Virginia in Charlottesville for the UVA Invitational, and the rest of the team takes on Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
The RedHawks have improved in every offensive category over the last two seasons: total yardage, points per game, first downs - the list goes on. But according to head coach Chuck Martin, Miami fans shouldn't get ahead of themselves.
