Miami hockey alum finds appreciation for his professional career despite short stint in the NHL

Andy Miele is the only Hobey-Baker award winner in the history of Miami University’s hockey program, making him a figurehead of the organization. But despite his achievements, he only played 15 games in the NHL and is still currently playing in Europe. How did Miele came to accept his career for what it is after the dream of being a consistent NHL player wasn’t meant to be?
