Three strangely interesting teams for the 2017-2018 NBA season

We've all heard the statement before. You could be discussing the record-setting amount of All-Stars moving teams in the NBA offseason (11 players!), hyping up your favorite player as the next superstar-in-the-making, or even sitting around playing NBA 2K on your couch with your friends. As sports discussions are apt to do, the conversation may get a bit heated as different opinions are brought up and counterpoint after counterpoint are raised, but eventually one person will end the discussion with a single statement:

RedHawks fall flat in second half, lose at Kent State

In a tale of two halves, an 11-point halftime lead wasn't enough for Miami -- Kent State University came roaring back to beat Miami football 17-14. Despite out-gaining the host's 335-328 yards, and holding a 19-12 first down advantage, the RedHawks lost for the third straight week.

RedHawks turn to Bahl in search of road win

The 2017 season was supposed to be a breakout year for the Miami RedHawks football program. Following an unexpected six-game win streak in the 2016-17 season, the 'Hawks returned starting quarterback Gus Ragland with experienced weapons on offense and an aggressive defense full of veteran playmakers. However, at the halfway point of the season the 'Hawks sit at a disappointing 2-4. With the exception of Notre Dame, the RedHawks have had their chances to be 5-1, but improbable turnovers at crucial junctions has doomed Miami.
