Spring break is a time for students to flock to new and exciting locations around the world. Four students share their experiences over the 2024 break.
As the weather warms people start using the trails of Peffer Park, and users may notice another trail being built on the other side of the parking lot.
Students and community members packed together across from Martin Luther King Jr. Park Uptown hoping to spot Sylvester Stallone while filming his new movie, “Alarum.” The whole park and much of the surrounding area was blocked off for shooting starting Feb. 27.

ART 495 is composed of 12-15 Miami students who are divided into pairs or trios to teach a specific age group over the course of a semester. Age groups ranged from pre-K all the way to adults.

The canoe trip was put on by Miami University’s Outdoor Pursuit Center (OPC), and it spanned from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon the weekend of Fall Break. More than a dozen students and OPC leaders participated in the event.
