Five sexual assaults have been reported to authorities since the beginning of the fall semester.
Employees turned students away at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 from the Withrow Hall Starbucks location due to a lack of trained employees present.
A crowd of roughly 200 people crowded the Phi Delt gates after Mega Fair on Wednesday, August 28, carrying signs with messages of acceptance. Kevin Armitage, a former Miami University professor, was sentenced to 33 months in jail and 10 years of supervised release after he traveled to Kansas City, MO in May 2018 and planned to hire a 14-year-old sex trafficked girl named Crystal. But Armitage unknowingly arranged the meeting with an FBI agent, who posed as the teenage girl's cousin and pimp on usasexguide. Armitage used the sex trafficking website, which he had nearly 600 posts on, to set up the meeting. He was listed as a senior member of the site.
