Marly Wooster’s tenure path started on her first day at Miami University six years ago. As the only faculty lighting designer in the theater department, her journey was difficult to navigate because she’s the only one doing this type of work to receive tenure.

At a lecture in Williams Hall Monday night, students and faculty listened as Rosemary Pennington, a journalism professor at Miami, and Nathan French, a religion professor at Miami, discussed some of the actions people can take.

The Miami University Senate met in Harrison Hall April 4 to discuss tenure, different policy revisions, ASG year-in-review and Ohio Senate Bill 83 (S.B. 83).
