Its abundance of cheap ingredients and quality foods encourage individuals to shop at the location, whether it’s a first-year buying snacks that are cheaper than their vending machine counterparts or off-campus students simply buying groceries for the week.

Miami University’s response to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests and the enduring pattern of racism and police brutality in the United States has been mixed at best and, some say, deeply hypocritical at worst. However, the College of Creative Arts is taking measures to stand in solidarity with movements such as Black Lives Matter through music and education.

The verdant grounds and broad walkways of Miami are no longer desolate when the clock reads 11:40 a.m. or 1:15 p.m. However, the ever-present issue of COVID-19 and the fact that some students opted to stay remote for the semester have led to some interesting changes in how professors are conducting classes this fall.

Because of continued concerns about COVID-19, many students still have to deal with Zoom classes due to individuals staying home this semester. This means students still have to manage their time and studies while attending classes from their computer, an endeavor that has produced many changes in study habits.
