One Service+ member working with the Natural Areas had planned a project to add a railing to one of the stairways on the Bachelor Preserve trails. He was unable to start the project when AmeriCorps funding was abruptly pulled, said natural areas field manager Nancy Feakes.
Oxford Seniors relied on support from three Service+ members this semester. Their work collectively added up to more than a full-time position.
