‘I wanted my team to count on me’: Dom Dzioban made two key plays in Miami’s victory over UMass

Redshirt junior kicker Dom Dzioban woke up at 7 a.m. on Sept. 28 like any other game day. The University of Massachusetts Minutemen were visiting Oxford later that day at 3:30 p.m. It’s the RedHawks’ final non-conference game of the season.

Volleyball starts season 3-0 after finding success at the Norfolk State Invitational

The Miami University RedHawks volleyball team is flipping the script in 2024. In their first invitational of the year last weekend, the RedHawks went 3-0 against the Lamar University Cardinals, the Gardner-Webb University Runnin’ Bulldogs and the Norfolk State Spartans.

The Miami University RedHawks opened their 2024 football season against the Northwestern University Wildcats of the Big Ten. The RedHawks, coming off an electric 2023 season and returning sixth-year quarterback Brett Gabbert, were hopeful for this matchup. They kept their expectations realistic, but the RedHawks went into this game confident in their performance.
