The RedHawks split their games over the weekend in the Loyola Marymount University Thanksgiving Classic in Los Angeles. The 'Hawks lost to LMU 84-71 on Friday, and defeated Denver University 69-52 on Saturday.

The RedHawks look to make a statement this season in conference play under new head coach Megan Duffy. A successful collegiate player for Notre Dame, Duffy helped the Fighting Irish reach four consecutive NCAA Tournaments in her time there. She went on to play in the WNBA, before initiating her coaching career at St. John's, George Washington, and the University of Michigan as an assistant coach.

Miami volleyball kicked-off senior weekend at home with a win over Kent State in three straight sets on Friday and continued its dominance against Ohio University to win again in straight sets on Saturday.

The Miami Women's Basketball team will be looking to improve on their mediocre 11-21 record from last season this Thursday at home in an exhibition game against Central State University. Though under new head coach Megan Duffy, the RedHawks are returning all of their rostered players, including standout sophomore guard Lauren Dickerson.

The RedHawks should be flying high following a victorious weekend at home. Continuing conference play, Miami hosted Central Michigan on Friday afternoon and battled Eastern Michigan on Sunday. Entering the weekend without a win, and only a single point on the season, the Red and White were desperate to keep their hopes of a MAC Tournament berth alive. Pulling away with 2-1 and 3-2 overtime victories, they saved their season, for the time being.

Despite a strong second half display, Miami soccer was unable to avoid defeat at home against Western Michigan on Sunday. The RedHawks fell to 0-12-1 (0-5-0 Mid-American Conference) on the season.

Miami soccer showed signs of life this past weekend, finally returning home from a long stretch of away games. The familiar field clearly gave the team some boosted energy, as they competed well in both conference games.

The Miami University soccer team lost both games on their weekend road trip, falling to 0-9-0 on the season. Friday's 3-1 loss to the University of Toledo, coupled with Sunday's 4-1 defeat at Bowling Green State University dashed hopes of starting Mid-American Conference play with a victory, or two.
