The annual Student Body President (SBP) and Vice President (SBVP) election will take place Monday, March 17 through Wednesday, March 19, and typically, The Miami Student endorses the candidates it feels are best fit for the job.
When it comes to Miami University’s strengths, people often call to mind the beauty of Miami’s campus, its nationally-ranked study abroad program or the Farmer School of Business, consistently placed in the top 20 in the nation.
On Dec. 3, 2024, Miami University professors were told their course load would be restructured. Tenure-track and tenured faculty will now be required to teach four classes per semester. This is a jump from the average two or three that many professors, regardless of standing, have taught.
