How to get out of jury duty

(04/03/25 7:00pm)

Most people go to Florida for spring break – I got called to jury duty. While I was sitting there, filling out a long form with a lot of information I’m pretty sure they could’ve looked up, I was busy thinking about all the ways I could have convinced the government I’m too much of a risk to put on a jury. A ‘heads-up’ would’ve been nice

(12/05/24 11:00am)

It was the Friday before Thanksgiving week. I was worrying about what to wear so I didn’t contract hypothermia on my way to Spanish class and trying to figure out who was going to be picking me up to drive me back home for break. I wasn’t worried about my classes for the spring semester. I had enough problems without adding course scheduling on top.
