When we head to the ballot box this year, we will be faced with a choice between a career public servant who wants to bring the country forward and a 34-time convicted felon who only cares about himself and his rich friends. We must elect Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz as the next president and vice president of the United States.

The sight of someone holding an offensive sign in front of Armstrong or a large demonstration happening at the Seal becomes more popular every semester I spend on campus. While I may not agree with every person holding up a sign, the ability for people to make their voices heard is core to the ideals of this country and the mission of this university.

This election year is the weirdest and potentially most consequential of our lives. As much as it is an exhausting rhetoric, it is important to vote for those who will best represent you, up and down the ballot. I believe this is the slate of candidates offered by the Democratic Party.
