Because of Miami's postseason aspirations, Sunday's field hockey win against Ohio didn't hold as much emotion as a typical senior day.
"If you asked our guys if we had a chance Wednesday they would've told you no," head coach Chuck Martin said on Saturday.
Miami field hockey won its fourth game in a row when it beat Indiana University 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. The win capped a two-win weekend after a Friday 3-0 victory against Mid-American Conference opponent Kent State.
This week the RedHawks are headed to the University of Buffalo for this year's Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The competition will last from Thursday May 10 through Saturday May 12.
As the first round of the NBA playoffs comes to a close, only eight teams remain. Some matchups are easier to predict than others, but I'll attempt to predict the futures of the remaining teams.
