The warm scent of chicken, dumplings and other homemade cuisine hung over the crowd of students packed into the Armstrong Student Center’s Fritz Pavilion. Student vigilantes took to the ice at Goggin Ice Center for the superhero-themed Moonlight Skate event on Friday night. About 20 students came to the event and flew around the ice for two hours while listening to pop tunes.

If you’re ever walking outside Stonebridge Hall, you might notice Miami sophomore and creative writing major, Icarus O’Brien, walking his one-eyed dog, Mr. Rogers. Mr. Rogers is O’Brien’s emotional support animal (ESA) and helps him manage his depression and anxiety, conditions O’Brien struggled with last school year.
