The Oxford Police Department (OPD) arrested two juveniles and two adults Wednesday in reference to a pair of robberies last weekend.

As reported in the April 22 issue of The Miami Student, around 1:30 a.m. Friday, two males allegedly robbed a female Miami University student at gunpoint outside Oxford Commons apartments. A day later, around 2 a.m. Saturday, two males similarly dressed robbed at gunpoint a male in the same vicinity.

The suspects escaped on foot, absconding with the female's purse and phone, and then the male's cash.

According to an OPD press release, OPD's investigation was aided by the Butler County Sheriff's Office, the Oxford Township Police Department, the Miami University Police Department and the Butler County Prosecutor's Office.

Carson B. Buell, 20, of Hamilton, was charged with two first-degree counts of complicity to aggravated robbery. Nathaniel S. Nickel, 19, of Oxford, was charged with two first-degree felony counts of aggravated robbery. The two 17-year-old juveniles were each arrested and charged with one count of first-degree aggravated robbery.
