Princeton Review: Miami's financial aid 'not so great,' but beer abounds

Amelia Carpenter, Online Staff

Miami University won't be labeled a "Party School" this year, at least not officially. Princeton Review rankings released Aug. 1 shows Miami looks ‘not so great' for financial aid, but it makes up for it with ‘lots of beer.'

Miami was ranked sixth in the ‘financial aid not so great' category, 20th for ‘lots of beer' and ninth for ‘little race/class interaction' on campus. The entrepreneurship program remains in the top 20 and the school is listed as one of the best Midwestern colleges out of 153 schools.

Ohio University was ranked the top Party School and leader of the ‘Lots of Beer' category. Ohio State University landed in the top jock schools, students who pack the stadiums and is one of the best value colleges.

Princeton Review rankings are based off student surveys that are based on scores and then compared to other schools in their list of 376 total colleges. All college rankings can be found online. (Link: http://www.princetonreview.com/college-rankings.aspx)
