Looking to see an artist other than Mike Posner in the area? Find your inner emo and check out Owl City's concert, featuring Oxford concert veteran Lights. Covington, Ky. isn't far enough away to be lazy and spend another night deciding which bar to go to uptown. The concert may seem sold out, but look to StubHub or Craig's List for your golden ticket. Eat, Pray, Love Book Club Class with Rhonda ClarkJan. 21

Jungle Jim's always has many different cooking classes throughout the month, but Jan. 21 book and food lovers can join together for the Eat, Pray, Love Book Club Class with chef Rhonda Clark - a former chef at Bobby Flay's restaurant Bolo. The class will feature a group discussion of Elizabeth Gilbert's novel, so make sure you've read it before class, and following the discussion Clark will show students how to make the inspirations for the books menu. The menu for the class includes mushroom Arancini, polenta with vegetables primavera, Tandoor chicken, and pancong and coconut cake. Harriet Tubman and the Train to FreedomJan. 29Fairfield Community Arts Center - 20.96 miles from Oxford

Celebrate Black History Month a few days early by attending "Harriet Tubman and the Train to Freedom" in Fairfield. ArtReach, a division of the Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, performs a rendition of Harriet Tubman's escape to freedom in Philadelphia in 1849.
