The Oxford Police Department (OPD) was dispatched at 9:12 a.m. to investigate the report of a dead body near the railroad tracks east of the intersection of South College and Foxfire Drive.
According to an OPD report, the body of a deceased male was located on the tracks at 9:13 a.m. The Butler County Coroner's Office removed the body at 11:55 a.m.
Oxford Township Police Department, Miami University Police Department and railroad personnel provided support.
