The Miami Student’s new podcast “From the Editor’s Desk” focuses on The Miami Student’s top story of the week, taking a deeper dive into the writing and interview processes behind the final product.
On this first episode, Editor-in-Chief Olivia Patel sat down with Senior Campus and Community Editor Taylor Stumbaugh, co-creator and writer of the Miami … Merged series. The other creator of the series, Senior Staff Writer Lillian Wahl, was unable to join them for the recording of this episode. The two discussed how Stumbaugh and Wahl sifted through applications, selected the candidates and settled on date locations for the latest edition of Miami … Merged.
Miami … Merged was printed in the April 18 edition of The Miami Student, which is currently on stands around campus and various off-campus locations. The next episode of “From the Editor’s Desk” will air following the May 2 print edition.
