Bloomington, Indiana, the home of basketball, will host a Friday night game between the Miami University RedHawks (5-2) and the Indiana University Hoosiers (6-2).

The RedHawks are on a three-game winning streak after recently taking down the Air Force Falcons. The back-and-forth battle saw junior guard Peter Suder score a career-high 42 points.

The Hoosiers are also on a win streak, having won their last two contests. Their only two losses on the season came against the No. 7 Gonzaga University Bulldogs and the University of Louisville Cardinals.

Suder’s last game puts him first in points for Miami with 122. Redshirt sophomore wing Kam Craft trails with 99, while junior forward Antwone Woolfolk leads in rebounds with 45 and sophomore guard Mekhi Cooper leads in assists with 23.

Defensively, sophomore wing Eian Elmer leads the team in steals (14) and ties with Woolfolk in blocks with six.

For the Hoosiers, sophomore forward Mackenze Mgbako leads the team in scoring with 134 points, redshirt senior center and former Arizona Wildcat Oumar Ballo leads in rebounds with 66 and senior guard Trey Galloway leads in assists with 32.

On the other end, Ballo also leads the team in blocked shots with 17, and junior forward Malik Reneau leads in steals at 14.

Historically, the RedHawks have faced the Hoosiers 25 times, with Indiana taking 22 of those games, including the last six. In their last meeting in 2022, Indiana won 86-56. The 2022 matchup was the first time the schools met in 28 years.

Indiana has a 91.5% chance of victory according to ESPN Analytics. It will take a monumental effort to take down the Hoosiers, but as Miami fans saw on Monday against Air Force, if their shots are falling, the RedHawks can put up a good fight.
