Miami University student taken to hospital after being hit at intersection

At the intersection of South Campus Avenue and Spring Street, a white Jeep heading North on South Campus hit a pedestrian Nov. 14 at approximately 2:14 p.m.

The Oxford Police Department (OPD) as well as the Miami University Police Department arrived on scene four minutes later.

Bystanders who saw the accident said the woman hit was coherent, sitting in front of the vehicle talking with the police, paramedics and the driver before being transported to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital.
