Each year in Uptown Oxford, Earth Day is celebrated with an event called EarthFest.
Although Earth Day is actually on April 22, this Saturday, April 18 twenty seven organizations will gather for a fun filled morning of games and activities, live music, and more. EarthFest is open to the public and free for everyone.

Additional activities will include well water testing with the Stream Team, Take Back the Tap with Green Oxford, face painting and a passport activity with Miami’s Institute for the Environment and Sustainability, show and tell with Hueston Woods’ Nature Center, and a bicycle powered smoothies with EcoReps.
Kinetics Fest Artists will also be present at EarthFest. The following day they are hosting a flyer workshop in collaboration with the National Art Educators Association.
