Moon Co-op to host soup dinner

What sets Moon Co-op apart from other groceries stores is the fact that it’s owned by the community, not a corporation.  All the income the store makes goes back into the Oxford community.

And you can help the community by participating in Moon Co-op’s annual event.

Moon Co-op is hosting the Great Soups Dinner on Tuesday. This event will be held from 5-7 p.m. in Oxford’s Holy Trinity Church. The cost to participate is $12 per person and children can get in if a small donation is made.

This fundraiser includes a delicious dinner complete with soup, salad and dessert.  Moon Co-op will also launch and debut their new t-shirts.

All proceeds go toward the support of Moon Co-op and the Oxford community.

What better way to support the community than to enjoy a nice bowl of steaming, savory soup?

Moon Co-op is a community market dedicated to building relationships with local farmers and producers in the Oxford area.  The market gives locals the opportunity to showcase their products, which include fresh, local, organic products found right here in the community, as well as several mainstream organic brands found in other grocery stores.  They also have a deli that offers local meats and cheeses.
