University mourns student’s death

Bryan Faber, a junior information technology major at Miami's Hamilton campus, passed away Saturday Nov. 8 at the age of 34. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 14.

According to Paul Young Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ohio, Faber's cause of death is not yet confirmed.

Faber was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was educated by Hamilton schools. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1998 and served in the U.S. Navy before attending Miami University.

"He was an excellent student who added so much to the classes that he was in," Marianne Murphy, chair of the CIT department said. "He was wonderfully funny and goofy and he was especially willing to listen to others. He is going to be greatly missed."
