Over the past week a virus referred to as "Flashback" or "Flashfake" has infected over 600,000 Mac computers. This virus has spread very quickly and allows hackers to gain remote access to the infected computer. An early version of the virus came from a pop-up window that asked users to install a fake version of Adobe Flash. A newer version uses a security bug in Java to infect the computer. Once hackers access the computer they are able to steal personal and financial data.
