Late last week, the Mother of Brill Science Library, Maggie Workman, passed away. Known for her love of all things hockey, politics and baking, Maggie possessed a unique ability to connect with everyone who walked through the door. She was strong-willed, but completely selfless; her faith and values guided her life, and we were all better people because of it. Today she will be laid to rest in a peaceful cemetery north of town — just as she would have wanted. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she shaped. To those of us who had the privilege of knowing Maggie and sharing in her stories, it is so hard to see her go.
